Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1939. Graduated from the Department of English Literature, Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences, Waseda University.
Studied biblical studies at the Catholic University of Paris and the Institute of Biblical Studies and Archaeology of Jerusalem. In 1990, he started volunteer activities to support the education of children in the Holy Land. In 2003, he became an NPO and in 2015, he became a certified NPO.
From August 4th to 17th, 2024, the "Bridge of Peace Project 2024" will be held in Nagasaki and Tokyo, bringing together young people from Israel, Palestine, and Japan to discuss peace.
Supporting Children of the Holy Land is a certified NPO that works under the philosophy that "education is the path to peace" in order to realize a Middle East peace where the human rights of all people, both Israeli and Palestinian, are protected and coexistence is possible.
